A little sleaze, a little cheese... Went to Salt tasting room for the first time. I was curious about it's location down Blood Alley. We had to pass through a veritable gauntlet of "interesting characters", and my low blood sugar grumpiness was not helped by the fact that the place is not easy to spot. But when we finally found the damn place, the sandwiches hit the spot.

What's with this awesome little house?!  I've never seen it before. It's like an urban beach pebble - worn away by the sands of time. Does someone live here?? It's on Howe just south of Pacific. I caught heck from a straw cowboy hat wearing guy for trying to photograph the other side from the parking lot of his ghetto auto body shop next door. Further grumpiness ensued. But it was a glorious spring day, only briefly hampered again by the sight of a wilted, ad hoc memorial on the pavement below Burrard Bridge...

* Update: The house address comes up as a homeless shelter - maybe this is the office part, as the rest is in a renovated concrete auto body shop. Check out a Google street view I found of this house before the vines were cut off!

They should probably tear that building down as it's kind of interesting.

I think they should tear it down because we need more space for "Mini Storage".
