(my) Mom's Ginger Cookies

2 C all purpose flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tbs ground ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp black pepper
*Mix*

1/2 C white sugar
2/3 C oil
1 egg
1/4 C molasses
1/2 C chopped candied ginger 
*Mix*

Add top mixture to bottom mixture.
1 inch balls - no more than 8 minutes at 350 (they burn easily!)
